While earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from East Carolina University in Textile Design, I discovered a love of screen printed and dyeing on various fibers.  My favorites are silk, cotton, and paper.  Using my sense of color and visual texture, I created a way of combining my textile sensibilities and love of printing and painting into a unique artistic style.  I have continued to explore my artistic vision by earning a Masters of Fine Arts Degree from Western Carolina University. 
I currently reside in Sylva, NC, and divide my time between my own studio work and working as a Museum Assistant at the Fine Art Museum at Western Carolina University.
