This is a new variation on my dyed silk scarves. These scarves are smaller and are embellished with charms and are to be worn on the wrist. The charms can be chosen to represent personal symbolism. I've made a few so far and had a great response. What do you think? Yeah, there's a purple theme going on right now.... I will be making other colors too!

I recently had the honor of participating in a project by Margaret Couch Cogswell. In order to celebrate the art of letter writing, she collected letters from various sources and called the project TINY MAILBOX. You can read more about the whimsical project here: http://margaretcouchcogswell.blogspot.com/ I am also taking a summer class with Margaret at Penland!
